“we know nothing will happen” why? well… ahhh because we do… ohh ohh y2k was a bust… ahhh and 2012 was just a movie…. see look at this educational clip that we’re watching from it… thats why i know nothing will happen… pfft
Baahhhahahah <–sheep call
not implying that the world will end, just that there are some pretty ignorant people out there…lol
I must agree with you on all the dooms day dates. Christians been doing the same for Jesus to return. 666ad, 1666 ad 1945 ad1999 ad 2012 ad. so ya Jesus & doomsday dates seem to have 1 thing in common. Major hype, but fail to deliver.=D
No offense to anyone’s personal religious belief .
@MrGWGProductions only as they learn more, that can only be said for theories etc etc not for this, we know nothing will happen, its another one of the many estimated doomsday events from internet nut jobs designed to send people into panic, I can honestly see people killing themselves come 2012 over this one. Scaremongering crap is never good for anyone, especially the gullable.Where does the world believed to be flat come into it? The idea of it being round dates back to ancient Greece
1. NASA changes statements all the time on many topics. But lets hope they are in fact correct here.
But granted, while NASA says nothing will happen. The world was once believed to be flat too. But then in favor of your comment, Y2K was one big bust. So while I hope nothing happens, forgive me if I say seeing if believing . I hope we do not have to see any of 2012 become a reality. Much better to keep that on the big screen=D
@MrGWGProductions They haven’t changed a single word so far. First of all, alignments where the five naked-eye planets cluster together in the sky within a circle 25 degrees or less in diameter happen once every 57 years, on average. There was one in in 1962 which sent many people into a panic. There was another in 2000. In 2012 there aren’t going to be any ‘alignments’, (except for the normal conjunctions that happen every year) the next one is in 2040, therefore this whole thing, is bullshit.
yeah, and NASA says much, when in fact they change their statements later on. Nobody living was here the last time this event occurred, roughly 26,000 years ago, the end of the last ice age era or so. While I hope nothing happens, there is no proof what it will do, if anything or nothing at all. We can either worry bout it or go on living & let what happens happen. But still fun the what if scenarios=D
@MrGWGProductions The planetary allignement will not effect anything, this has been confirmed by NASA scientists, but really – it shouldn’t take a scientist to work out.
@cakeisc00l
agreed. sorry was in the mountains for the last week. I hope like hell it don’t blow in any of our life times, but if it does, my bet is on 12/21/2012(and not cause of Mayan Prophecy, but because of the planetary alignment , which happens once every 26,000 years, where the planets of this solar system all line up in a galactic line. This may or may not effect our own gravitational pull. Nobody living knows for sure, but if it does, we are all pretty much screwed. Thanks for comment
@MrGWGProductions Scientists say that this supervolcano erupts every 600,000 years? and its now been 630,000 years since the last eruption. Iam only 14 and its a large chance that this supervolcano will erupt in my life time, well I think theys a large chance. The last time it erupted 90% of life was totaly obliviated in the event. Iad realy rather not be around to see this.
Mount Toba spewed two-thousand times as much ash as Mount St. Helens did. Ash covered all of India to a depth of at least a half foot, and to a depth over twenty feet in some places. But the entire world was devastated by the atmospheric ash. The result was a six-year “nuclear winter” followed by a thousand-year ice-age. The entire human species was devastated, and it was completely exterminated between Java and the present-day border of Iran.
yellow stone national park is a huge super volcano. One of about 7 or so around the planet. It last erupted, so scientists believe, around the time Dinosaurs became extinct. When, not if, Yellowstone does erupt again, the United states as we know it, will be no more, and will have dire global consequences. Over population will be the least of our concerns.
