The value of good quality European breakdown cover insurance has never been more evident as the UK suffers at the hands of an Icelandic volcano – proving that good insurance pays for itself time and time again.

And it doesn’t matter whether it is breakdown cover, car insurance or in this case travel insurance spending a little time buying the right policy can mean the difference between losing everything and ensuring that you are not left out of pocket when something does go wrong.

And while an erupting volcano may seem like an extremely occurance it has still left many unprepared travelers who were willing to risk a trip without the right cover having to fork out for many expenses and cancelled holidays.

And according to Mr Astbury those buying breakdown cover policies should also pay attention to the small print, which is catching some travelers out as they look to claim for their holidays ruined by the volcanic eruptions.
