Sugarcubes – Birthday (Icelandic version) Since the Icelandic volcano (Eyjafjallajökull) erupted on April 14th 2010 and sent a huge cloud of ash eastward, we’ve enjoyed light hazy blue skies with sunshine and no formed clouds here in western Europe. The area of ‘clear sky’ is similar to the area where all planes are grounded. Is the unusual sky and lack of clouds due to the presence of volcanic ash or is it due to the absence of jet propelled aircraft? We do sometimes get unusually good weather at this time of year but the sky right now is a strange light blue dome. It could be that people – including me – are looking up at the daytime sky more than usual but instinct tells be otherwise.
woops. soz. misread the vid. thought you meant there were no ash clouds. its nice. ive been able to lie in on a saturday without the spin flights waking me up. it’s still cloudy in ireland. we have shite weather.
the ash is so fine and so high up it cant be seen. even a small cloud, 1 meter squared could cause catastrophic damage. dont make assumptions from over the great atlantic. im stuck here, and my summer hols are looking decidedly static.
@astoria791 Are you saying that music sucks generally? Or the music on this video sucks? Two words isn’t explanatory enough.
music sucks
I love the silence and the clear clear blue sky.
It’s the CHEMTRAILS stupids!
HeHe, HeLLo!^_^ xoxox
@wilcockproductions Yeah… well, someone who posts a political comment on a non political video is likely to get ‘burned’ (by me) You like this Bjork singing in Icelandic? (before she was known as Bjork… in her band The Sugarcubes) Thanks for your comment!
Alan u never use the F word lol someone or something must of upset u. Very clever, u really do know yr stuff dont u mr.
@RJM1011 ok, I just read that story (I don’t watch TV or read papers)… the general feeling I get from the story is one of “rolling the eyes”. So, people go away on holiday and they can’t take responsibility for themselves? Are they acting like children, relying on big daddy to get them home? Can’t they get their own fucking coaches or trains!? The twats.
Airplanes cause alot of cloudiness in the upper atmosphere. The contrails have a huge effect on cloudiness, polluting the sky in a white haze of cirrostratus. Even here in the states, skies have been nice and clear and blue. Its been wonderful. I hope that volcano keeps erupting. We survived fine without airplanes. We can do it again. Great vid. Too bad the media isn’t mentioning the positives.
Wheres the 100 coachs Mr brown ? more lies just like Dumblane you TWAT !
@SaraMUSt And I love yours! thanks for the comment
x (I went rock hunting for 7 hours today and got a “sunburn”ed face… and I found a DINOSAUR TOOTH!!!
) (two great fossils and a collection of others in two days! and I don’t even know what the hell I’m doing yet. Mind you, it is the Isle Of Wight… world famous dinosaur graveyard)
Just watched this now, with my mum… Awesome reasoning/etc. ! Once again, I love your mind! [;
@marestejar You’re right. Those two images together are profound! the scale is off… but yeah, ash, planes or simply nice weather, the reality is crystal clear.
@Cherryblossomgeishas Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought… It’s hard to say what caused the strange sky texture we had for a couple of days but whatever we think it was would only be an assumption. I think it was the ash and not the planes (assumption) but we’ve definitely has this kind of weather before around easter time.
Man, this video is good!
The mix between the gov. cloud forecast and the reality from the satellite , said it all.
We are governed by idiots (or there.. is a plan?)
ash clouds can have an effect on the weather they can block out the sun too by reflecting it back out of the atmosphere so if the ash cloud is changing our clouds it doesn’t really explain the nice sunny weather we have been having. i’ve been reading up on volcanoes on the internet so i’m just going on the info i have read.
i think plane con trails spread out and probably do cause some cloud coverage. There are 28000 flights a day out of the uk that must have some impact on the weather i have noticed the clear skies too but we might just be getting some nice weather for a change here in the uk!
@VilliGodi Oh no, I wasn’t spouting conspiracy theories. There was a gigantic area of clear / misty sky over much of Europe, as you can see from the Met Office image from 10am yesterday. I’ve never thought too much about plane fumes… or chem-trails-whatever. That’s not one of the conspiracy theories I give any time to. My video is more aimed towards geologists and meteorologists. My instict tells me that, because the air was filled with microscopic dust, clouds couldn’t condense – or something
And yet all our news service wants to cover is monetary loss Maybe the grounded businessmen should be looking up at what they were not allowed to see before A blue chemical soup free sky
The reason there are no clouds in that footage of the volcano is that they went flying to shoot footage BECAUSE there were no clouds and you could see the eruption clearly that day. It’s been cloudy here most of the time during the eruption. Chill with the pointless conspiracy theories.
