The last day for watching the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull was 4th April. Spectacular fireshow!! Then comes a longterm snowstrom and at present is all area closed because of big floods and ash fall.

A volcano on Iceland had been dormant for 200 years before a recent eruption, delighting tourists and geologists. Officials say the eruption itself is not a threat to nearby residents, but may stir a larger volcano nearby. (March 31)
