A dark object may be lurking near our solar system, occasionally kicking comets in our direction. Nicknamed Nemesis or The Death Star, this undetected object could be a red or brown dwarf star, or an even darker presence several times the mass of Jupiter. Why do scientists think something could be hidden beyond the edge of our solar system? Originally, Nemesis was suggested as a way to explain a cycle of mass extinctions on Earth. www.astrobio.net The solar system has one less comet. On March 12th, the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) watched as a comet plunged into the sun and disappeared. Fierce solar heating completely destroyed the icy visitor from the outer solar system. Click on the image to see the comet’s last hours: The comet was probably a member of the Kreutz sungrazer family. Named after a 19th century German astronomer who studied them in detail,Dirk Peeters.Kreutz sungrazers are fragments from the breakup of a giant comet at least 2000 years ago. Several of these fragments pass by the sun and disintegrate every day. Most are too small to see but occasionally a big fragment–like this one–attracts attention. UPDATE: Several readers have noticed that the doomed comet was actually a string of doomed comets, plural. www.spaceweather.com
correct me if I’m wrong,
1.a binary star, according to theories consumes / attracts the same amount of energy has a black hole or close to one …
2.nemesis, corresponding to proposition on this video, is close to our sun…
My question is, wasnt supposed to our sun already have been consumed by the binary star AKA nemesis?
Why do these fake narrations always have to sound like Steven Hawkings??? Oy vay
WTF have i just watched.. i cudnt understand a word microsoft sam was saying.. damn space accents
If it is Fake then why are the goverments keeping it a secret something like area 51 being Fake i think I would pray that my soul is saved from sin ask and he shall recieve Awmen
@whatguess2003 if bruce will fail we still have chuck norris
Fake
The solar system didn’t get bigger. The dark dwarfs got smaller!
the death star! from starwars!
some1 remake to video from history chane and put his own video and computer voice u donkey’s 0:36
Well what is it, Niburu or Nemesis, either way nothing will happen even if either are real.
the only other star that i know of in our side of our galaxy is Sirius
@whatguess2003 6:20 I hope that wasn’t a hostage
Instead of having drums going off, maybe ‘ Bark At The Moon ‘ by Ozzy would be better?
@clickingpinging Listen to the video then..
@kamz16 these chuck norris deepshit stuff getting very boring dork
@padawan007
inside the comet was chuck norris dna that created modern man.
omg its the Makyo Star from dbz
just send bruce wills to detonate that star
bull shit
Still,i can’t see how a normal star,let alone a minor brown dwarf,can affect the Earth over a 1 light year(s) distance…
i hear a teory about that ufos are manipulated a cometh to the earth and that cometh killed dinosauruses and inside the cometh were new dns and organs for a new life
@alexandria211 they renamed it TYCHE because if they find it they expect it to be on a friendly orbit. 3600 yrs to have a planet barreling thru our solar system is astronomically like 1 second and this would fling orbits and the sol system would be a shooting gallery. Did you know the 1 ton voyager’s passage by juptier actually slowed the planet down by 1 ft over a several billion yr period?? Dont trust Nasa trust the amateur astronomer community they arent govt paid and they’re everywhere
@bigc028282 This is a reply to a old message 4 mos ago. They bombed the moon to determine h20 content water in space can be used to make fuel with the moons low mass you can launch from the moon and reach escape velocity which gets corporate america out to the stars. Helium 3 is also a prospect for future energy needs on the moon.
NASA recently renamed the hypothetical Nemesis. its now called ‘Tyche’, meaning lucky. ummm. why did they rename? tyche sounds less ominous, maybe NASA believes in its existance more then they let on……..
@dbkeay
it is called G1.9 13 times jupiters mass, but they are way out of our solar system and according to cambridge scientists, exert only a very tiny pull on all objects in our solar system, not ever enough to do any damage
but its an on going theory, as i said though if the status quo in science stands it means the brown dwarf wont harm anyone
