no. This is an eruption. Because not only steam but also the volcanic ash is discharged from the crater. (It is a descending volcanic ash that sees a gray curtain. )It is an explosion that you are insisting, and the explosion is one form of the eruption.

This is not eruption, this is smoke billowing only, a PRE ERUPTION event before the big bang.
