From National Geographic podcast Wild Chronicles “Recent volcanic eruptions on the Galapagos Islands are disrupting the lives of many native plants and animals. Most of the species here have adapted to a world of fire and ash… but recent volcanic activity still has some environmentalists worried. Will the plants and animals that helped inspire Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution be able to escape lava flows? Follow Wild Chronicles as we cover this hot topic.”

@coolcoolcoolest re-think what part? i know everything i said is true
and the last thing i said is “i don’t wanna fight over evolution vs creation”
so let’s not, ok?
@OsamaBinLooney HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAH!!!!! you might wanna re-think that again LMFAO!!!
@Kaiser2241 no not quite i just assumed you believed in evolution since you said that world is so old
usually the same people that falsely believe the world is billions of years old also believe in evolution which is also a fantasy
but it’s an age old debate that will never be settled so lets not try
@OsamaBinLooney dont know what you want but i just corrected your comment that the “world isnt even that old”. maybe you mistaking my comment to someone else.
@Kaiser2241 LOL you evolutionsists are so funny
sorry to burst your bubble but there’s almost no evidence at all to support evolution LOL
@OsamaBinLooney The “world” aka. Planet Earht is 4,6 billion years old.
an eruption 100,000 years ago, huh?

We used to have the Executive Director of the Charles Darwin Conservancy. Formally known as the Charles Darwin Foundation, INC., Falls Church, VA do a slide show lecture of the Galapagos Islands, the valcanos, the animals, the problems that man brought to the islands (feral cats & pigs). Johannah Berry gave our turtle & tortoise society group wonderful & insightful lectures on the Galapagos Islands. We were always impressed with her knowledge. Thanks for sharing this video. 5 star rating.
Awesome place! I was there a long time ago = 1979
I no longer believe that the replacement of native species with introduced species is any kind of crisis. As long as you have a nice forest and healthy, happy critters, then everything is fine. : ) If you want to preserve the native species, then cultivate them or sell them in new lands as ornamentals.
aww flying turtles.
viva ecuador
wna go there someday
