This is an educational video to all the newsreporters in the world that are trying to report from the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland
Eyjafjallajökull (pronounced [ˈɛɪjaˌfjatlaˌjœkʏtl̥], translated “island mountain glacier”) Ey – ja – fja – lla – jö – kull Aye – ya – fyah – dla – jow – kudl more info: en.wikipedia.org For some more funnies.. the New York Times asked a few bypassers to pronounce “Eyjafjallajökull” for them. Ahh yes. These reports gave me many laughs…Being Icelandic is so much fun sometimes!
0:17 cracked me up, that was funny as hell.

i can say it :d scandinavia ftw
@vmadman I am not scolding you for your grammar I’m scolding you because your dissing our country. And guess what, we don’t actually name our volcanoes only so some lame ass dude in America, who doesn’t even know how to spell what he is scolding me for spelling wrong, can say it. We name our volcanoes so WE understand it and so it makes sense to US! We don’t give a fuck if it makes sense to YOU. If you want it to makes sense then just fkn learn the language or otherwise just shut the hell up!
you suck !
i don’t want to say that word in public…
@FourSeasonRunner hey fourseasonrunner i live there and the number six in icelands is pronounced “sex” 1=einn 2=tveir 3=þrír 4=fjórir 5=fimm 6=sex how awsome is that and icelandic, and other nordic lang.. where do you think americans came from ?? europe…
,this was fun,Its really easier to just pronounce the Norwegian name on it,. Eyjafjällajökul..
or even Øyafjallajøkul(Which basicaly means Øy =island,Fjäll=mountain, and Jøkul= glacier
and it brings me a good laugh, that all reporters actually are wrong, The glacier have not an eruption. the mountain have that lies under the Glacier, and the name on the mountain itself is Eyjafjäll… could it be any harder to understand,.
“Hay-fill-low-ked” said fast, sounds more or less like that soundclip
Well atleast its a nice and catchy name… :S
For an island with a name as simple as “Iceland”, the names of the volcanoes are just ludicrous. can we just call the it Mount Doom instead?
The hurr de durr volcano
The last one totally owns it all.
Yaflallaloogoogu volcano.
LoL they fail so much at saying it its so funny too hear it when you are an icelandic
@LifeShocker that’s not hard!

you better just keep laughting for it
