Lava enters ocean, explodes & produces volcanic cloud with vortex (looks like a tornado, but it’s not) & lightning. Spatter lands nearby on a littoral cone. As the hot plume rises, it draws up cooler air and moisture from the sea, forming a vortex (similar to a waterspout). Location is Kilauea volcano, near Kalapana.
