The evening of May 17th 2010 an ash cloud from the Eyjafjallajökull volcano could be seen moving over the North Sea in the direction of Belgium. This timelapse shows about three hours of exposures with my camera pointed towards Ursa Minor, clearly showing the passage of the cloud. 30 seconde exposures with a Canon EOS 400D at ISO100, with a 30mm Sigma lens at F/1.8. This version has a flatfield applied to reduce vignetting. The cloud moving across the image is clearer than in the original video. 2010-5-17 21h25UT till 2010-5-18 0h31UT
